Audit Reports
Alberta Environment and Protected Areas regularly audits the LICA air monitoring network. In this section, you can access both the audit findings and LICA’s responses to address any identified issues.
Contravention Reports
If a contravention of Alberta’s Ambient Air Quality Objectives or Guidelines occurs, or if a condition of the Alberta Air Monitoring Directive is unmet, LICA must report these incidents to Alberta Environment and Parks. Additionally, LICA is obligated to submit a 7-day follow-up letter to address or explain the event. This section contains copies of those 7-day follow-up letters.
Site Documentation
This section hosts essential site documentation for all ambient monitoring stations as required by the Alberta Air Monitoring Directive. It includes detailed station and instrument descriptions, contact information, geographic details, and visual aids such as maps and photographs. These documents are updated and maintained for each station and are reviewed annually.
Quality Assurance Plan
In this section, you can access LICA’s Quality Assurance Plan, outlining the systematic procedures and practices we follow to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and comparability of our air monitoring data, as mandated by the Quality System Chapter of Alberta’s Air Monitoring Directive.
