Community Garden Work Day

In order to prep the garden prior to planting season, we are hosting a Community Garden Work Day!
On Wednesday, May 17th, our staff will be working in the garden from 12:30pm to 8:00pm – we hope you can join us! It is a come-and-go event, so come help out for as long as you are able!
Some of the tasks we need to complete include:
– Tilling compost into the plot soil
– Pulling invasive plant species
– Turning the compost
We will have snacks and drinks/water – it is supposed to be hot out so please remember your sunscreen and a hat!
Also – if you know any teens who need community service hours, invite them along! We will sign off on their volunteer hours.
