Jodie Genest
Community Outreach Coordinator
I have lived in the Flat Lake community for almost 30 years. I attended Glendon School and after graduation I went off to Red Deer Community College, N.A.I.T, and finally the University of Alberta. I received a Diploma in Renewable Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences.
My previous employment experiences have included working in the forestry industry, oil and gas sector, and provincial government as a technician for Fish and Wildlife and a contractor to Alberta Health Services testing domestic well water.
I love spending my time outdoors with my family, especially around a campfire. My three sons keep me on my toes, and we try to spend as much time as we can at the lake during the summer months. I have a passion for gardening, antiques, old cars, and music.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the amazing work and programs that LICA provides in our community.
