LICA Fisheries Workshop

LICA Environmental Stewards and School of Fish present an opportunity to learn more about our local fisheries! Click here to view the poster!
This fisheries workshop will provide both an in-class and outdoor experience. On Saturday, preserved fish and photos will be used to teach participants, at the LICA office key morphological features to help identify fishes. On Sunday, a field day will solidify the identification techniques learnt by giving participants the opportunity to handle live fish while discussing appropriate fish habitats.
This two-day workshop will be held on:
- Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the LICA office
- Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Moose Lake Bonnyville Beach
