LICA’s Organization
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing administration functions and systems of governance that ensure the successful implementation and delivery on the objectives of the different program areas. Sound administration and reporting as required by funders and BOD. Contract services as required to implement approved programs. Approve budgets and programs, direct Program Managers and establish task groups and committees for specific activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Coordinated throughout the delivery of different program areas; however, has a “START” focus. Led by Executive Director and coordinated with all Program Managers, develop Communication Strategy, implement Communication Plan, and undertake Stakeholder Engagement initiatives approved by the Board.
Education & Outreach
Coordinated throughout the delivery of different program areas; however, has an “END” focus. Led by Education & Outreach Program Manager and coordinated with Environmental Monitoring and Environmental Management Program Managers, implement Education Program as approved by the Board, including CARS, Nature Kids, Photo Contest, Earth Day, and Xstream Science.
Community & Place Based Monitoring
Led by Environmental Monitoring Program Manager, implement Monitoring Program as approved by the Board, including continuous, passive, integrated air monitoring, acid sensitive lake and soil sampling, ALMS, etc.
Environmental Management Programs
Led by Environmental Management Program Manager, implement Management Programs as approved by the Board, including State of the Watershed reporting, Particulate Matter and Ozone Management Plans, Integrated Watershed Management Plan, and Resiliency and Restoration work, etc.
